It was created along with the foundation of the institution. Conceived by Founder Rector Dr. Mario Ceballos Araujo, it showcases a book that represents the wisdom, a compass which means the art and a gearwheel representing the economy. On the inside is the motto “Science for Progress”, meaningful phrase which identifies UAC throughout all Colombia.
